    resolved [RESOLVED] PHP URL Question

    Hi All,

    Have a question:

How can I pass a variable in the URL as well as an anchor tag so when the page refreshes it would load on the anchor tag?

    This I get:

    http://site/path/filename.php?variablename=value

    This I get:

    http://site/path/filename.php#anchortag

How would I combine both into one URL?

    Thanks in advance,
    --Phill

    Thanks man,

Glad to see the community is so helpful.

Okay maybe it's my fault for not explaining all the steps I have taken before posting my question:

1- I have tried the URL like this:

    http://site/path/filename.php?variab...alue#anchortag

    And like this

    http://site/path/filename.php#anchortag?variablename

    with no luck.

2- have looked for some time on other examples on the web as to what I want to do.
    Places I have looked:
    Google
    php.net
    other forums
    etc...

haven't come to find anything doing both actions at once. I see both passing a variable or anchor tag information but not working together.
