can asp communicate with cgi?

I have an .asp form with information I need to post to a cgi script. Unfortunately I can't test to see if it works because I can't run 2 servers at the same time on my pc - I have xp media center edition. In other words I have cgi on a sambar server and asp on an iis server. I really want to know if this can work otherwise I'll have to write rewrite all my scripts in asp.

the answer is yes it can, I found away around my little problem so I was able to test it out.
