DropdrownList in asp.net 2 with Unicode

hi all,
how can I display unicode in dropdownlist in asp.net 2.0?

in design view, it displays normally but in browser it displays square boxes instead... other control seem work ok... but listbox and dropdownlist... doesn't work... any help?
