    IE6 Opacity on windowed elements

Has anyone stumbled across away to add 0 opacity to a windowed element in ie6. We are trying to set a 0 opacity to select boxes in an effort to customize their appearance but maintain their functionality. FF of course works perfectly. Any ideas?

    visibility:hidden; ?

Keeps all the attributes on the page like height, width yet just doesn't show anything.

Unless code is provided or an exact example is requested I think I'm going to start using psuedo code from now on...

Well if its an opacity of 0 then why not visibility:hidden? all it does is not show the element, everything else about it is still there.

If it needs to be something other then opacity of 0, have a page I can check out?
