how to put new node in xml file using javascript

i need help!

for example, i have xml file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<users>
<user>
<name>comsi</name>
<id>559</id>
</user>
</users>

and i want to put new node <user> into the xml file using java script.

so

<html>
<head>

<script type="text/javascript">
...what to do now???

You have a confused understanding of the javascript's nature. Javascript is a client-side language, thus it can not, alone, write/store/change data. You need also a server-side application (written in php, asp, java... a.s.o...) and a server system for that. Or you may use ActiveX + VisualBasic, if you need to work locally, using only IE as a browser.
