Exclamation W3C Validate with FLASH, but wont work on FireFox

So I made my flash validate but now it will not work on FireFox can somebody please help. I do not want to use the embed code because it does not validate, I am sure there has to be a way to make this work on FireFox, FireFox has never let me down before I been reading and It says to include add DATA and TYPE to your object tag, I do not know how to add it I am not good with scripts. Can someone please help me.

In summary, you need to remove the "embed" tag and in your "object" tag you would
    - remove the CLSID and the CODEBASE within the "object" tag.
    - add DATA and TYPE to your object tag.
    - if you have not already, then you would also include the PARAM as an example below.

    MY CODE
    HTML Code:
    <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" width="958" height="300"><param name="width" value="958" /><param name="height" value="300" /><param name="src" value="images/stories/fruit/smilemovie.swf" /></object><img src="images/stories/fruit/mainmessage.gif" border="0" alt="rotator" title="rotator" width="959" height="30" />

There is another article on alistapart called byebyeembed which shows how to do it with two object tags one nested inside the other.
