[RESOLVED] PLEASE HELP! I cannot get this site on the search engines, no matter what?
I designed this site www.allsealglass.com I did it a while back when I was still using tables for layout. Can you please look at the source code and tell me why this site will not show up on any search engines.
Did you use the Google Webmaster Tool to submit your site, and also did you provide a sitemap? That will help Google crawling your site.
Yeah i Did submit it to google, but I didnt do the sitemap thing.
Thanks for the help ahk2chan
There is a lot to tweak on your pages, if you do a google search for SEO tips you'll see how to opimise your code. (alt attributes, title, h1, H2 ...)
Then, you need to get links to your website!
Search engines can't get to know your site if noone meniones it. Do a google search for 'Link building technics', here are a few to get started : digg like and other social bookmarking tools, directories, link exchange, blog links, forums ...
That's a long term job though so don't expect to rank very well too quickly.
No problem Sneeu. I think another thing you should do right the way is to try to submit your site to dmoz. (www.dmoz.org) It will take some time, and some luck :P But it will help!

Agree with WL, but the keyword is missing. you will need some "quality" inbound links.
I visited your website and see. There is no page rank and crawled on 19 Dec 2008 05:11:46 GMT. So, Now, problem is sitemap.xml.
First of all set priority in xml file.
Second, improve your submission work.
Third, put no follow tag (On no priority pages.)
Else, you can hire developer for that.

Reason: Link removed.
Hi, your title tag is too long. Try focusing on one keyword phrase per page. Make sure you use the most important one for the home page and that the others have direct links from the home page. Also make sure your title keyword phrase is repeated on the actual page of content.
try to submit in dmoz directory........
