    tables

    Hi im working on a layout and i have used a table for my navigation and then i have a header in the second collumn and i want the header to slightly overlap my buttons can i do this?
    or please tell me some appropriate way to do this.

    It's never appropriate to use TABLEs for layout. And as an added benefit, once you switch to a CSS layout what you ask will become possible.
