Here's the deal. I'm embedding an FLV video into a WordPress page, so the code is actually in the page content. Here's the catch... Sometimes the video will display, other times it will not. I have used the same browser the entire time (FF on Mac), and it's appearance just fluctuates. Can anyone help? Code below.
Actually, I would upload your videos to Youtube or one of the sites for a couple of reasons:
1.) Everybody knows how the interface works and is familiar with it.
2.) This will drive traffic to your site and help with PR as you can get a free backlink out of YouTube, et. al.
3.) You will ease some of the burden on your server/bandwidth.
Consider simply uploading your vids to Youtube and embedding them as I said in my earlier post.
I have a site that gets thousands upon thousands of visitors from a stupid video I posted on Youtube and forgot all about.
Looks like this plugin only aids videos from other sites. The videos we're trying to embed are stored on our own server.
On another note, I'm not so sure how well a plugin for WordPress would work anyway, because the video files are not uploaded via WordPress.
Anyone else maybe have a solution?
You can check playerdiy.com with this tutorial - Add Flash Videos to WordPress Blog
which does not require any plugin for wordpress, you can directly add FLV with this player.
