    Angry Dreamweaver generated script error

    Hey folks -

    I'm building a site http://portfolio.stevedolan.com using Dreamweaver CS4 - I just did a browser compatability check and it came back with the following error:


    Error - Line 15
    Found 1 errors in portfolio.css

    Affects: Firefox 1.5, 2.0, 3.0; Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0b1; Internet Explorer for Macintosh 5.2; Netscape 8.0; Opera 8.0, 9.0; Safari 2.0, 3.0

    This is a rollover/preload image script that is a dreamweaver-generated script. I'm wondering why the hell it would generate a script that has an error across all browsers? How can I fix this?

    Found 1 errors in portfolio.css
    Note the file extension mentioned. This would seem to indicate a known CSS error/incompatibility, not a script problem.

    In Dreamweaver, Line 15 starts as

    I'm not aware of the compatability error you mentioned, is there a way around this?

    Found 1 errors in portfolio.css
    According to that, you've got an error on line 15 in your portfolio.css document. You also mentioned above that line 15 starts at:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    Correct me if I'm wrong, but you cannot have JavaScript defined in a .css file?

    My apologies, I listed the line 15 in the HTML, not in the CSS where the error is.

    But Line 15 in the CSS shows: a single } closing bracket for CSS...ugh.

    I suppose my post is in the wrong section, but my problem is IE isn't displyaing my images, but the CSS and Javascript work just fine.
