I'm a noob I didn't know where to post this, but can any one give me and idea of what languages I would have to learn to make a site similar to this one?
I know Html, Css, AS3.0 but I don't know any server-side languages. What should I learn in order to be able to make a shopping cart payment system and a simple forum? And if I wanna include Pay pal how would I go about linking it to a shopping cart system? And how do you create a simple poll?
Well, you need a cms like Drupal or Joomla. If you want to open an online store try oscommerce. And PHP is the best server side scripting language now.
is wordpress a CMS? i was doing some researching on it and it looks really cool but can u create e-commerce with wordpress? or embed it into a website?
