    Converter Software for FLV

I'm looking for recommendations on software that can convert almost any format into FLV. I'm looking for quality conversion, to the FLV format. I really like FLV because of it's file sizes especially to display video on the web you really can't go wrong with it, compared to QT (argh)

FFmpeg is open source and free. It also does a far better job than any of the not-so-free options. FLV is only one of the many formats it can convert to and from.

Alright, well a few more suggestions are welcome. I asked because there are so many out there, I know some have had experience with many and could offer suggestions.

All the codecs supported by FLVs are by nature lossy.

if you got swf files you can use iWisoft swf to flv converter, i've used it, it seems that there isn't any picture loss.
