Stumped on simple .htaccess rewrite rules to Lighttpd version

    Hey everyone!

Looking for a small favour, since I can't seem to figure it out...

Here are my current Rewrite Rules with Apache. I'm moved to Lighttpd, and need to change these so that my vanity URLs continue to work:

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9]+)$ /profile/profile.php?id=$1 [L]

How do I do this in Lighttpd?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Seems you're replacing it with a query string and you have neglected to state that in your rule.

    Try

    Code:
    RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9]+)$ /profile/profile.php?id=$1 [QSA,L]
And make sure that you have the following above RewriteEngine On:

    Code:
    Options +FollowSymLinks
    Hope this helps.
