Wow -- anybody else seen FUDForum?
I've been using vBulletin for years (which Web Developer is using now) ... just discovered a GPLd, open-source alternative that looks fabulous:
FUDforum, at
http://fud.prohost.org/
Anybody else used it?
FUDforum seems to have all the features vBulletin has, but it's free and open-source.
But when you buy the code for a forum, like vBulletin, you can put it on your own server. When it is all on a hosted site, it can take a while to load if a lot of people are using the forums, even if they aren't using yours!

Ok... what's that have to do with FUDforum?
for(split(//,'))*))91:+9.*4:1A1+9,1))2*:..)))2*:31.-1)4131)1))2*:3)"'))
{for(ord){$i+=$_&7;grep(vec($s,$i++,1)=1,1..($_>>3)-4);}}print"$s\n";
Naw, you download it and put the software on your own server. Just requires mySQL and PHP.

I used phpBB for quite a while, but I quite like invision now. Needs a little more work in a couple of places, but it's very good.
invision
we use invision right now =)
tell me how it looks
