    SetTimeout placement question

    I have a script running on my page to run two image slideshows with a fade effect. (can be seen at houseofshoesonline.com) I would like to have a pause before the second slideshow starts to fade, but would like the delay to remain the same as the first so that the fading effect alternates.

    Where would i use the SetTimeout("",x)? Thank you in advance the code is extensive and is as follows -

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">

    var fadeimages=new Array()
    //SET IMAGE PATHS. Extend or contract array as needed
    fadeimages[0]=["images/heelsad.jpg",

    "http://shop.houseofshoesonline.com/category.sc?categoryId=15", "_new"]
    fadeimages[1]=["images/clubwearad.jpg",

    "http://shop.houseofshoesonline.com/category.sc?categoryId=19", "_new"]
    fadeimages[2]=["images/accessoriesad.jpg",

    "http://www.shop.houseofshoesonline.com/category.sc?categoryId=22", "_new"]

    var fadeimages2=new Array() //2nd array set example. Remove or add more sets as needed.
    //SET IMAGE PATHS. Extend or contract array as needed
    fadeimages2[0]=["images/adtemplate.jpg", "", ""] //plain image syntax
    fadeimages2[1]=["images/adtemplate2.jpg", "http://www.cssdrive.com", ""] //image with link syntax
    fadeimages2[2]=["images/adtemplate3.jpg", "http://www.javascriptkit.com", "_new"] //image

    with link and target syntax

    var fadebgcolor="black"

    Where is fadeshow() called? If it is something like onload="fadeshow(...); fadeshow(...)" then just do onload="fadeshow(...); setTimeout('fadeshow(...)', ...)"

    oh, sorry.

    this is where it is called, there are two instances of it -

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    //new fadeshow(IMAGES_ARRAY_NAME, slideshow_width, slideshow_height, borderwidth, delay,

    pause (0=no, 1=yes), optionalRandomOrder)
    new fadeshow(fadeimages, 900, 150, 0, 4000, 1)
    </script>

    <script type="text/javascript">
    //new fadeshow(IMAGES_ARRAY_NAME, slideshow_width, slideshow_height, borderwidth, delay,

    pause (0=no, 1=yes), optionalRandomOrder)
    new fadeshow(fadeimages2, 900, 150, 0, 4000, 1)
    </script>

    so it would be
    Code:
    SetTimeout(new fadeshow(fadeimages2, 900, 150, 0, 4000, 1),2000)
    ??

    also, would this cause it to not load for 2000 milliseconds, as opposed to pausing for 2 seconds?

    the page reloads after 2 seconds and hangs at a white screen when i have it coded like this -

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    //new fadeshow(IMAGES_ARRAY_NAME, slideshow_width, slideshow_height, borderwidth, delay,

    pause (0=no, 1=yes), optionalRandomOrder)
    setTimeout("new fadeshow(fadeimages2, 900, 150, 0, 4000, 1)", 1000);
    </script>
