javascript: save/restore form data... HELP!

Hello experts!

I have tried 4 different snippets that say they can save/restore form data, using a cookie.
My javascript and cookies are both enabled.

NOT ONE of these scripts work properly, and I was wondering is somebody could help me find one that works.......?

It would need to work with all types of form inputs, and grab their info all-at-once - without the need for code to be added to each and every input.
