old IE doesn't show div
I'm working on a page at wagnermeters.com/slider/carousel3.html. It works in FF, IE8, and Chrome, but older versions of IE (or IE8 in compatibility mode) don't work. The page includes a picture with a bunch of objects on it, and clicking on them makes a div appear including an enlarged image of the object and a slide out menu. In older verisons of IE, the leftmost object, when clicked won't display the enlarged image (although the slideout menu is still there).
I put this thread in JS because that's what is used to make the divs visible, but I'm not sure if the JS is the problem here.
I'm completely baffled. Thanks for your help.
Hard to make comments on code that can not be seen.
Do you have a link to the page?
What versions of MSIE don't work for you? How far back?
Perhaps I should have been more clear, but here's the page location again: wagnermeters.com/slider/carousel3.html
I've only had problems in IE 7 (or IE8 in compatibility mode).
Thanks for your help.
Whoops, missed the link in the original message.
(Might try using link tags to make it stand out more)
I'll see if I can find an older version of IE to test on.
Thanks for your interest in helping me. If you can't find an older version of IE, IE8 has that "compatibility mode" button that will simulate an older version. It won't work in that, either.
