    Not sure where to actually post this!

    I am placing a module on my website with five different links. I would like the links to be used in stages, so what I want to be able to do is keep my visitors from being able to access one link until they have finished the stages in the other. I am not sure what this is called so if anyone could lead me in the right direction that would be awesome.

    If they're going from start to finish in one setting, the easiest way is to set a server side session variable that tells you what stage they have completed and test for that on all of the other stages. Additionally you could hide or disable the links to the other stages until your condition has been met.

    So how do I disable the links until my conditions are met?

    Thanks, TheBearMay

    I think that last part is what I want to do I am a real newbie so I don't know how to actually set a condition for it to disable or enable a link automatically. Do you know of any tutorials I could take a look at?

    Easiest thing is to start with something like:
    HTML Code:
    <a href="mylink.htm" style="display:none" id="someUniqueId">My Link</a>
    and then when you're ready to see it, display it with javascript using:
    Code:
    document.getElementById("someUniqueId").style.display="inline";

    That seems simple enough!

    Thanks,
