    Quick preg_match question

    I think my pattern is screwy but I'm not sure.
    Trying to replace . ''; with just a ; What'd I do
    wrong below?

    PHP Code:
    preg_replace('/. \'\';$/'";"$output);

    In your pattern, is the "." supposed to be a literal period (full stop)? If so, it needs to be escaped with a back-slash.
