I'm building a page as part of a guerrilla marketing campaign, and I want to use javascript popups in a creative way.
Here's what I want to do:
:: have a popup load five seconds after the page loads
:: have the user close that pop up
:: have the same popup open again
:: repeat this pattern five times
On the sixth time, a final, different popup loads. And after the user closes this one, no others appear.
Can anyone help me code this out? Thanks in advance.
Well popups are annoying. I think you've probably gotten as creative as you can, but if I knew that you were going to poke a popup in my face five seconds after the page loads, then I wouldn't go there. And if I had to go there, then I would disable my JavaScript on that page. What you're trying to do seems like a misuse of popups to me.

I'll be frank, if I were visiting a site like that I would be thoroughly pissed and more focused on how pissed off your site made me as opposed to the content of the popup. While I have never refrained from providing assistance and direction, I will be this time around. I will not be apart of propagating something that I detest.
