I have never heard of this before. A former customer called me and said his hosting company is charging him for exceeding the number of files. Huh? I looked at the disk usage and it reads 495.95 mb of disk files.
They currently have 200 GB of disk space. I don't understand. They arn't even using a gigabyte of hard disk space.
How can I advise my customer? I have never seen anything like this before.
Have you looked at the terms of service on his contract? I would think that if they're charging for something, it would need to be in the contract. And if it is in the contract, then he needs to decide if he's happy with his hosting company or not, but it's something he agreed to...
