    Running 2 javascripts

    Hi, new to this but i am having trouble running 2 javascripts at the same time. one is for rollover buttons and one is for an image pop-up with tooltip.

    ***This is the first one:

    <script type="text/javascript">

    var dom = (document.getElementById) ? true : false;
    var ns5 = (!document.all && dom || window.opera) ? true: false;
    var ie5 = ((navigator.userAgent.indexOf("MSIE")>-1) && dom) ? true : false;
    var ie4 = (document.all && !dom) ? true : false;
    var nodyn = (!ns5 && !ie4 && !ie5 && !dom) ? true : false;

    var origWidth, origHeight;

    var tipWidth= 1;
    var offX= 0; // how far from mouse to show tip
    var offY= 0;
    var tipFontFamily= "Verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif";
    var tipFontSize= "8pt";

    var tipFontColor= "#000000";
    var tipBgColor= "";
    var tipBorderColor= "#000080";
    var tipBorderWidth= 0;
    var tipBorderStyle= "ridge";
    var tipPadding= 0;

    messages[0] = new Array('players/andersoninfo.JPG','',"");
    messages[1] = new Array('players/britcherinfo.JPG','',"");
    messages[2] = new Array('players/datersinfo.JPG','',"");
    messages[3] = new Array('players/dilloninfo.JPG','',"");
    messages[4] = new Array('players/englerinfo.JPG','',"");
    messages[5] = new Array('players/gorshinfo.JPG','',"");

    if (document.images) {
    var theImgs = new Array();
    for (var i=0; i<messages.length; i++) {
    theImgs[i] = new Image();
    theImgs[i].src = messages[i][0];

    Any variable declared outside of a function is visible to all functions.
    Where ever the problem is, check your variables and then, start commenting out
    lines of code or even entire blocks of code until you track down whats not right.
