    Exclamation Website Analytics

    Hi,

Is there an easy way of counting unique visitors accessing a website and monitoring site traffic. I know it is probably possible using some sort of log file but I would rather stick to using a database. The information I would like to gather is:

    Unique visitors
    Pageviews
Site referals such as google etc.

I know I could just use google analytics but I would like to implement this information into my content management system therefore I need to gather it myself I think.

    Any help much appreciated,

    Thanks in Advance,

    Ben

Google is your friend m8(not talking about analytics). Just googled PHP visitor tracker. This is result #1 a topic that lists pre-done stuffs fer ya. If you're still wanting to re-create the wheel(for learning as example) you could just search for PHP visitor tracker tutorial, sure something might pop-up fer ya.

You can use analytics AND pull data from it for your CMS. It has an excellent API for pulling data.
