Setting up e-commerce requirements
I m going to implement an e-commerce application for the first time and would like to what are the minimal technical requirements for the same in LAMP envionment.
1. I know openssl is already installed in my server
2. I will have to buy a security certificate ?
How those things are need to be attached to provide a secure data transmission ??
Thanks and Best Regards
It depends on whether you are planning to store credit card numbers and such on your server (which I don't recommend). If you are using a merchant or payment gateway then bringing your server up to their minimum requirements (usually a static IP, valid SSL cert and HTTPS) should be sufficient.
Thanks for ur reply.

(usually a static IP, valid SSL cert and HTTPS) should be sufficient.

Your OS may or may not have specific differences from the articles/tutorials above.
