Putting Twitter/Facebook/Myspace feeds on to another website?

    Hi there,

I'm looking to scan the latest content on a Myspace/Facebook/Twitter feed (just the latest few comments) and show it as a feed on another website. Is this possible with PHP or should I learn how to do it in Linux? I need to automate server commands to send my webserver (that will have linux/php installed on it) to go scan the latest Myspace/Facebook/Twitter content.

Would the API's for each respective site hold the key to me wanting to do this?

Yes you can use their APIs (never used them myself so I can't tell you any specifics), or parse the RSS feeds. Both are easy with PHP. If you want to automate the script to run every x minutes/hours/days/whatever you would need cron. man crontab from a shell on your linux box for the crontab manual.

"cron. man crontab from a shell on your linux box for the crontab manual."

Could you please explain this further? What is cron/crontab and what is a shell? This is all new stuff to me.
