I am moving from godaddy to another host to improve the poor speed and reduce the amount of standard template support emails when I email for help and to get IMAP support.

Anyway closer to the issue, I need to preserve my subdomain behaviour.

Currently I have landed.com and id like to have tours.landed.com pointing to a section of the site which resides here

rootfolder/tours

godaddy did have some tool that you could specify a folder e.g. /tours

I may now have to do this using .htaccess rewrites.

Is this sounding like a good way to achieve this ? and what would it look like. I am not getting very far trying to learn regex
