    htaccess help

    the link above is what i use for my site to rewrite urls SEO friendly
    everything worked fine on my local windows server (running vertrigo)

    but when i uploaded it to linugx server... it returns 404 when i try forexample navigate to http://hostname.com/search/ or /contact/

    any ideas?
