    Removing menu and addressbar for local html application

    Hey. I know what your first reactiopn is going to be> "You shouldn't be doing that". I know this, but my work wants it done for a locally installed html help guide.

    Is there anyway to control this onload? It will be launched from an icon(shortcut) on a desktop.

    I think some browsers will simply not let you do that. I think FF will keep the address bar (but make it inactive) by all means.

    Anyway, try open that page on using window.open() method.
