Space after Image in IE. Please Help!
Attached is a screenshot of my site, http://bit.ly/UYkWX6. I've just added the image logo on the top there and it looks fine in Firefox and Chrome, but it adds that line at the bottom in IE.
Here is my code...
<td align="left" cellspacing="0" height="128" style="margin:0"; cellpadding="0" border="0" class="logo">
<a href="http://www.facebook.com/"><img src="/assets/images/DesignComponents/logo-2.jpg" border="0"></a>
You probably need to apply your CSS margin and padding 0px settings to the <img> tag instead of the <td> tag's class. Without seeing the code for the entire page, it's impossible to be sure.
It won't let me post that many characters here, but you can go to the site and view the source code.
try correcting this
...signComponents/disc-golf-station-logo-2.jpg" height=128 cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"></A> </TD>
...signComponents/disc-golf-station-logo-2.jpg" height=128 cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"></A></TD>
images are the same as letters, if you put a white-space behind and there is not enough space for both to fit in, one of them will break into a new line.
Well I'll be durrned. It worked.
