Problem with zooming in different browsers

I am novice in doing HTML.

Here is what i have done so far.

    http://jewelthief.yourfreehosting.net/test.html

It works ok when zooming in, in firefox. Every thing remains the same when zooming in firefox and to some extent in google chrome. I have used em unit (derived from default 16px font size) mostly but still there is problem in opera and netscape. anyone can test the above url and zoom in different browsers and tell why this problem presists.

moreover give me some tips about conding in html so that my page looks same in every browser and no matter at how large user sees it.

    any help would be appreciated.

Ok i have figured out the problem. The problem is with opera browser. While every other browser shows images alright, opera appends some fraction of the image's starting part to the last of it. I dont know why this is happening. I have gif images.
