need help with jcarousel or similar
Hi, I am making a website for an artist, and I used jcarousel ( http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/ ) for 2 things on the same page.
I think I might have to add a 2nd script, or adapt the script in a way i do not know.
I can do some simple adaptations (like you can see on the pages i made) but nothing major.
I would really love some help or tips where i can find a more suitable script if this one isn't right for me....
you can see the page here:
the jcarousel is used for both the slideshow of pictures, and the imagenavigation at the bottom.
Here are the 2 problems i run into
- because i use it for the slide show i had to put the no of images sliding to 1, so you do ot skip images.
in the navigation bar, it might be more practical to slide 3 images further.
I do not know how to make it so that the top one just does 1, the bottom one does 3
- this concerns the slide show:
the artist wants also to be able to click on the big image, not just the arrows at the bottom of the page to go to the next image.
I have found a script that does that ( http://flowplayer.org/tools/demos/sc...rollables.html ), but it does not have the arrows....
adding a 2nd script will of course make the amount of java script bigger, so not sure if that is the way to go.
I'll keep looking if I can find another script, but no luck so far....
All we need is the script, otherwise we can't help you
This is the reason no one responded 'till now
ok, sorry i forgot to post it!
here are the scripts:
(my guess is you only eed the 2nd one, but I added the 1st one just to be on the safe side...)
anyway i have (well actually my friend has) resolved the first problem (with the scroll:1 and scroll: 3 thing)
the problem left now is the one where i would like to be able to click on the image of the slideshow as well as on the arrows.
oh yes and a small addition:
my 'problem' has an extra edge, because only with the large slide you need to be able to click on it to go to the next.
the small ones at the bottom work as navigation.
if you click on one of the thumbs you go to a different page alltogether
gonna solve it with a php slideshow
