    Need help understanding what occurs when element is clicked

    Dear All:

    I would like to understand what code is execute when the following element is clicked on

    Nothing is executed, the code you posted does not show any events attached to any element.

    <element onclick="dosomething()" id="myid"
    or
    document.getElementById("myid").onclick=dosomething;
