Buttons are displaying incorrectly when live.

Hi there,

I'm having a problem with how my Dreamweaver site is displaying live. I have a row of buttons (.gifs) at the top and bottom of my page. Some display correctly, some not at all and some are cut off or distorted. There is also Flash content in the center of the page that does not display.

I have used Dreamweaver to check for broken links, validation problems and browser compatibility, and have come up with nothing.

It look like you are explicitly setting the height and width of the img tags. Is it possible that you have incorrect sizes specified? For the ones that aren't appearing have they been uploaded to the server properly?

Yes, I have checked all of the widths and removed the heights and it still does not work. The images have also all been uploaded properly.

Any other suggestions?

Aha!

I've gone over the image files on the server one more time and have noticed that the file sizes on the server are smaller than what they should be.

Now I'm having the strange problem that when i remove these images from the server and re-upload them using my ftp client, the entire image file is not uploading correctly.

Any idea why this may occur?

Are you uploading in binary or ASCII mode?

It's amazing the little things that can be overlooked sometimes. I was in ascii mode trying to upload a bunch of .gifs.
