FormCheck and niceforms

Hi,

I am using formcheck for validation, and niceforms for styling.

The versions are:
- FormCheck 1.5
- Niceforms 2.0
- Mootools 1.2.4

(niceforms is loaded last, but different order has been tried)

This combination works fine on all browsers I have tried (FF, chrome, safari), except for IE (7 & 8) where the validation stops working.

IE works intermittently, a switch between compatibility mode and regular in IE 8 makes it work a couple of times, after that no validation and the form is submitted regardless.

Disabling niceforms resolves the issue, but I would like to use it and time has already been spent on building a theme (an initial test in IE did not reveal the problem).

I am guessing this has something to do with how niceforms handles events.

Is there any way to resolve this, or should I drop it (the validation has priority)?

Would like to help but I am not familiar with MooTools abundant plug-ins.

I usually stick to jQuery and the validate plug-in. You can try those out.
