Hey guys,

I'm using jQuery to run the Twitter API to be able to tweet on my own site. It works fine in Google Chrome, but not in Firefox or IE.

I'm fairly certain the issue has to do something with the data: portion of the ajax statement, as everything works (in Chrome, IE, and FF) but in FF and IE the data is not posted at all.

Any help is extremely appreciated.

Here's the jQuery:

<script type="text/javascript">

$(document).ready(function(){
$("form#tweet_form").submit(function() {
var tweet = $('#tweet').attr('value');

$.ajax({
type: "POST",
url: "sidebar_right_tweet.php",
data: "tweet="+ tweet,
success: function(){
$(function(){

$('div.success').fadeIn();
$('div.success').delay(2000).fadeOut('slow');

});

}
});
return false;
});
});

</script>
Thanks!
