    resolved [RESOLVED] Validation script problem in IE7 en IE6

    Dear...

    I am using a jquery code to validate my form. I have adjusted this script for my needs. This is working fine in Chrome, Firefox and IE8. When I test in IE7 & IE 6 I get an error link:

    Line: 114
    Char: 5
    Error: Id, character of number is expected
    Code: 0

    When I use the original code I don't get this error but still the script doesn't work. Can anyone please help me out here?

    You can see the code I am using with the following link:

    Thanks!

    Usually indicates an array problem; IE considers a terminal comma as an empty item, other browsers ignore it.
    Code:
    email: {
        required: " ",
        email: " ",
    }
    Empty items are present in other arrays too.

    Thanks Fang,

    That solves the IE error, nice!

    Can you also see why the form isn't validated. Normaly when I type a correct e-mail I see an succes image and if it isn't a valid e-mail I get an error image. That works in all browsers except IE7 and IE6.

    Maybe you can help me solve that problem to!

    Thanks again!

    Hi Fang,

    Thanks again for your quick reply. But I solved the problem by correcting the CSS file for the older IE browsers.

    Thanks for your time.
