This works perfectly in Opera, Chrome and Firefox but IE doesn't size the new window. Instead, it opens in a full-size window thus obliterating the base page. Also, I'm using on_blur to close the window when it loses focus and IE (only) annoyingly pops up a query box asking for confirmation.
Would appreciate any advice on this please?
Is there a limit on dimensions for a pop up window. I notice that if I get a bit too big then Opera ignores the dimensions given as well.
Thanks for your welcome and the prompt reply - must have had my brain in neutral this week. So many times in the past I've fallen for that one - should know better by now.
Hey, thanks for going to so much trouble - looks like the title spaces were affecting Opera as well 'cos my own pages now behave properly. (I did try your code - TVM). Strange that Opera popups worked ok 'till a certain size was reached!
I'm using onBlur="window.close()" which works on all browsers except Firefox which leaves the opened window on screen behind the main browser page when focus is lost. Do you know of a cure for this by any chance - I have to admit I haven't done a search
