i am a complete noob at this but i cant wrap my head around ports... a website is just a computer with ports open to specific services(correct me if im wrong btw).. how do u open a port to a specific service (.ie ftp telnet etc) and how on earth do you set passwords for them and how do u access the root directory of the website.. im jus trying to learn some stuff be4 i go to college so pleez help
