Windows 7 Defaults

Ok here is my problem, I somehow clicked the wrong button so now EVERY program opens with Windows Media Center. Even when I click on "Set Program Access and computer defaults" it still opens with Windows Media Center. How do I restore program defaults another way?

I'm really not sure what happened. I ended up reinstalling windows 7 and starting from scratch. I wanted to try a system restore but even that wasn't possible because when I clicked on it, it then opened up Windows Media Center. I think all .exe files got changed somehow to open always with windows media center. It's an odd thing that I've never experienced before and I've worked with computers since I was a kid. Oh well.
