mootools.js IE 8 "null" is not a null or not an object

Hey all, I'm not to familiar with js but I'm having a problem with, mootools.js in IE 8 "null" is not a null or not an object line 8, 13, 59

Parts of my site are not showing up and this just started happening.

not real sure why.. i would be happy to attach a file or post the scrip if necessary..any help would be great.

I believe it may be a conflict between mootools and jquery. theres some kind of method called noconflict() i think that may help

also you should really validate your code with a service like validator.w3.org.

your current page is reporting ..... 188 errors and 253 warnings.

Yes this is just a template that I purchased. See Im just familiar with building websites using joomla. Im not a programmer so Im still just learning things. So really Im not sure what I could actually do with the script. From what Im reading Some posts also said its a conflict with mootools.js being called twice...
