I have a pretty sophisticated excel file (.xlsx) that I would like to be able to integrate into my site. I know that you can just save the excel file as html, but that is not what I am looking for. I would like to be able to update the excel file, and have certain cells update on my site, kind of like a database. I am very experience in excel, somewhat in html, but not so much is java or php. let me know what you guys think is the best solution for me!
if you have access to dreamweaver you can make use of the a spry variables, Spry variables can be mapped in an excel spreadsheet with an appropriate plugin.
I had it set up to track stats for my rec hockey team and display them on a personal webpage, unfrotunately I didnt keep up the webpage so I couldnt show you an example.
