    How to create a top navtable

    Hi I have a code which gives me a navigation table on the left of my web page underneath my header this is the code:
    <table id="navtable">
    <tr>
    <td align="left"><a href="home.html">HOME</a></td>

    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td align="left"><a href="profile.html">Profile</a></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td align="left"><a href="contacts.html">Contacts</a></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>

    <td align="left"><a href="events">Events</a></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td align="left"><a href="sponsers">Sponsers</a></td>
    </tr>
    </table></td>

    Instead of the navtable being at the left of my page I want it to be at the top of my page going across the page underneath the header. If somebody could help me with this ASAP I would be extremely grateful.

    Thank You

    Not sure if this is what you need.
    Code:
    <table id="navtable">
    <-- created just one table row -->
    <tr>
    <td ><a href="home.html">HOME</a></td>

    <td><a href="profile.html">Profile</a></td>

    <td><a href="contacts.html">Contacts</a></td>

    <td ><a href="events">Events</a></td>

    <td><a href="sponsers">Sponsers</a></td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    Nav bar issues

    Hello Peeps,

    I have a problem that may or may not be with my html on my new site. My navigation bar has no funtionality in "preview for web" in IE or Firefox. When I click the links on nav bar, nothing happens. I am submitting the html below:

    <div id="topnav">
    <ul id="list-nav">
    <li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Birthday</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Anniversary</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">For Her</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">For Him</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">For Mom</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">For Dad</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Just Because</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Making Up</a></li>
    </ul>
    </div>

    Can anyone see what my problem may be.
