well, you'll need HTML/XHTML/XML/XSLT/CSS/JavaScript and some server-side scripting language, preferably more than one. Some of these are PHP, Java (in the form of JSP most often these days), C#,and a host of others.
thank you very much and i realy appreciated.
but to be honest it still not clear for me,i have alot of questions, first of all,im i able to learn by myself to be a proper web developer even i have no backgruond in this field ?how long it takes me to learn every things?
is w3school.com any good (coz its free)?how to get certified as a web developer?do i have to pass each exam in each language i have learned?
i realy need your advice so can you pleas help me and make it for me clear (pleas)
thank you again for your time.
Certification is not necessary. W3schools is good, but with all programming, experience is the most vital, in a few regards. Firstly, it's only with practice that you will become good, especially if you've never programmed before. Secondly, a portfolio is as good as if not better than most certs as far as convincing clients goes.
Great wit and madness are near allied, and fine a line their bounds divide.

OK, step one: go to the website above, W3 schools.com and learn HTML. That's the first step.
