Metatag generator

Hi, I am a beginner in HTML and I would like to ask a question. I want to add metatags to my website but it's a little bit confusing for me. I'm trying to use the Advanced Metatag Generator but what I don't understand is that there are two different codes that are generated by Advanced META Tag Generator and The JavaScript Source: Miscellaneous: Advanced META Tag Generator. Which one am I supposed to put in my website's code page?

Just as it says: "Simply copy the following lines of code and insert them between the <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags in your HTML document. "

Metatags can vary a lot, so it's not surprising that you'd get two slightly different versions of them. If in doubt, post them here for comments.

Thanks for your quick reply but I don't know if you could see that there are two different types of coding, I just wonder which one is the right one. The one with javascript or the other one?

Ah, I didn't get your question. The javascript on that page is the *source code* for that metatag generator. You wouldn't use it unless you wanted to create your own metatag generator. For a normal page, you would use the html created in the box above it - the one that shows a bunch of meta tags.
