Preload Images for a different Webpage

If i load my homepage it only loads the requested images for that page.

What i want:
On the homepage, i want to PreLoad images for another of my pages for when they are needed when the viewer goes to that page.

I have seen image sprites but that looks to complicated as i only want something simple.

Post load the images used on the other page in the home page.
The use of sprites is a better option, for smaller images, and load faster than many small images.
