Vertical CSS menu?

Hello,

I've been trying to do some CSS for a while now and this has been bugging me for the last hour.

As you can see when you hover over "Home" in the top navigation, the menu is horizontal, when I want it to be vertical.

Also, I've tried to add a new line-height so that the "Link 1" will fix the height of the actual bar.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

forces a newline for the list-items. (must run, -but this might help)

Hi there!

Actually I've been using AllWebMenus (of Likno) and I can't create both vertical and horizontal menus without facing any problems and without having to code a lot!So if you don't manage to solve your problem I would recommend you this application.
