I am trying to upload a file cross domain. I know that this is not possible from domain to domain, however I am running all of my sites on the same server therefore it should be possible. All my scripts are fine.
The problem is when I try to open the directory on the other site. I get the following error:
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(DIRECTORY) is not within the allowed path(s): (DIRECTORY/httpdocs:/tmp) in class.upload.php on line 3168
I have changed the php.ini upload_tmp_dir to /tmp and this has not made a difference. If it is a permission problem then what permissions do I need to change? I have full control over my server so if permissions need to be changed then that is not a problem.
I am also confused by this 'httpdocs:/tmp' because there is not actually a folder that I can see. Is it hidden?
Thanks in Advance,
