hello, i have a page, domain.com/page and when it is opened, i want the url at the top to say domain.com/#/page and not just show the homepage of domain.com with the /#/page after it.
Many websites use this but i dont know how to use it on my website.
The main one i like is Rdio because the url works when clicked again.
So can someone tell me or give me some example code on how Rdio does this?
I have looked at their source code but i cant find anything..
or is it their .htaccess file which is doing this?
But what about the scripts? I have searched online but cannot find anything! I have been trying to find this out for nearly 4 months now and still nothing!

of course this is just basics and may not answer your question exactly. But there is loads on mod rewrite and uri routing on the net - just google for some tutorials.
By the way this question is more for server side development than client side.
Ajax still should work as the uri is rewritten by the server.
