    Wrap code with Marquee Tag

    Gang,

When I wrap vbscript code with the marquee tag, the rest of the data on the html document will not display. When I remove the marquee tag then the data on the rest of the page displays fine.

Thing is, I need to write data using vbscript and have it displayed in a scrolling manner.

Is it not good to wrap server-side script within a marquee tag?

Ever experience this problem when trying to combine marquee tag with vbscript?

the marquee tag is deprecated, and is buggy on the browsers now.

I really would not suggest using a marquee tag to move anything.

I tried using some Javascript and wrapping the server side code in a div tag but this is giving me the same problem as well.

Any alternatives would be much appreciated.

Not fully understanding the one link....tried the applet but does not seem to accept server-side script values to be plugged into the value element/parameter to then be printed out to the client side.

Wow, I thought this would be a breeze but finding out this is much harder than I expected.
