what do you call the URL addresses that automatically load a youtube video?

is there a technical description for URL's that use GET var/val pairs to automatically jumpstart/preload an application.

For instance when you use a youtube URL, youtube automatically starts the appropriate video.

I sometimes refer to them as quicklinks, but that's just me.
